New Westminster Studio: There is paid parking at Shops at New West within the New Westminster Skytrain Station.

North Burnaby Studio: There is free onsite parking at the Kensington Square Shopping Centre.

Richmond Studio: There is free onsite parking inside the complex. Please park in marked “Commercial Visitor” stalls.

Coquitlam Studio: There is street parking available on Glen Drive or in the Altamonte Village. Please use the buzz entry for evening (after 5 PM) and weekend hours. Please enter via the commercial building of 3007 Glen Drive.

My passion for health and wellness stems from a diverse background that includes eight years of personal training experience, a competitive powerlifting background, and four years as a competitive ballroom and Latin dance instructor.

Throughout my various endeavors, I developed a keen interest in the intricacies of the human body and movement. My goal as a bodyworker is to integrate my knowledge and experiences to provide techniques that are corrective and rehabilitative in nature. I am particularly drawn to modalities aimed at healing physical and mental wellness, ultimately improving movement and enhancing the quality of life for my clients.

Teresa completed her Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia.

Growing up as a competitive badminton player, Teresa sustained multiple injuries, but was fascinated by the resilience of the human body and developed a passion to become a physical therapist. From sprains and strains to fractures, she’s personally experienced them all! Teresa hopes that by utilizing an approach that combines manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription and education, she can empower her clients and help them get back to doing the things they love. Regardless of whether you have a musculoskeletal condition, or injury related to a motor vehicle accident or work, Teresa strives to ensure that your concerns will be heard and met. You can expect Teresa to draw on her clinical experience, academic education, and research experience to help you optimize your full potential.

Outside of the clinic, you can find her serving it up on the badminton courts, out on the field playing Spikeball, lifting weights, or powering through HIIT workouts at home. Meet Herman, a graduate from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. He believes that anyone has the ability to pursue what they love, without the fear of being held back by physical limitations. Herman aims to show that reaching your health and fitness goals is possible, with a little guidance in the right direction.

Herman began his health and fitness journey at The University of British Columbia, where he completed his Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences. Shortly after, he obtained his Personal Trainer certification from NSCA. Herman’s past weight lifting injuries and clinical practice have given him experience working with musculoskeletal conditions, neurological symptoms, sports related injuries and chronic pain. Herman utilizes various techniques such as deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, myofascial release and active/passive stretching.

Outside the clinic, you can find Herman lifting heavy weights in the gym, breaking ankles on the basketball court, and developing his videography skills.

Originally from the Philippines, Aya relocated to Metro Vancouver six years ago. Driven by her desire to assist others, she enrolled in Langara College’s Registered Massage Therapy program in 2022 and is currently in her final term before obtaining her diploma.

During her wait for licensure, Aya is honing her skills as a bodyworker at Launch Rehab. Specializing in relaxation massage, she aims to concentrate on musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation.

With extensive experience in applied biomechanics, injury management, and rehabilitation, Jordan’s goal is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and training through the use of exercise. Central to his treatment philosophy is the belief that movement is key. He integrates his expertise in Strength & Conditioning with manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and enhance mobility.

Sarah Orlina is driven by a passion for practical healing and genuine human connection. With a background in a Master’s in theology and her bachelor’s in journalism, she values listening to people’s stories, understanding the human experience in all its facets. Focusing her master’s thesis on trauma, she strives to integrate trauma-informed care into her treatments.

Thriving in musculoskeletal rehab work, Sarah finds joy in both the physical and emotional aspects of massage therapy. Her approach centers on empathy and effectiveness, tailoring each session to the client’s needs and fostering a sense of connection and holistic well-being.

Beyond her studies, Sarah leads a group dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in reconciling faith and sexuality, reflecting her commitment to advocacy and inclusivity. Ashwin graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an Active Health & Rehabilitation concentration.

With a very diverse background, Ashwin has participated in organized sports (soccer & basketball), competitive running, powerlifting and even spent time in the army. This has allowed him to gain a broad level of experience and perspective when it comes to relating to his client base. Not to mention, having personally gone through the process of being injured and going through the recovery process, he understands what it is like to take the steps back to recovery.

Ashwin’s approach to treatment always comes from recognizing the individuality in each patient and the emotional, mental, and environmental components that make everyone’s needs differ from one another. In addition, by consciously considering each patients’ goals, he facilitates an environment where they feel empowered to take control of their function and health. Be it the athlete, the motor vehicle accident client and anyone in between, Ashwin believes his holistic approach to treatment and the focus on strength and movement can take everyone one step closer to their goals. Boris has gained valuable rehabilitation and injury management experience in a multitude of clinical settings. Boris aims to provide an evidence-based approach that incorporates manual and exercise therapy to help you get back to doing what you love. As a competitive soccer player growing up, Boris has had a fair share of injuries. This ultimately led him to developing a passion for performance therapy, providing physical therapy with the mission of improving athletic performance, recovery and injury prevention. He has experience working with professional and university varsity level soccer players.

Daphne has experience working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries in private practice. In addition, she has some experience working with seniors in the long-term care setting. Daphne utilizes education, exercise, functional dry needling, and manual therapy to help clients reach their goals. She believes that spending the time to understand each person’s story leads to more successful rehabilitation journeys.

Kelvin completed his Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia following his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. With years of experience in private practice and work rehabilitation, he has treated a wide range of soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurological injuries. Through this journey, he’s learned two fundamental principles: 1. Listen attentively to the patient’s needs, and 2. Ensure active patient involvement in their rehabilitation process. By adopting this collaborative and holistic approach, Kelvin empowers clients in their recovery while preventing future injuries.

Kelvin takes a hands-on approach to therapy and has pursued additional education in Soft Tissue Release Therapy, Acupuncture, Chan Gunn IMS, and Vestibular Therapy. He is committed to continuous learning and is currently working towards his Orthopedic and Manual Therapy certifications.
